So in my daily hunt for a new job I have encountered numerous scams that want to take my unemployment money from me. I found a couple of interesting prospects on Craig's list, applied for them and then got immediate email responses informing me because I will be issued a company credit card I have to get a credit check. Really? A credit check? Oh, and it's not free? Oh I see. NOT!
Other scams as well. I am also looking for new digs to rent and I have come across 2 in the last weeks that offer a house for rent, super cheap and beautiful, and not theirs to rent. Really? No, sorry, I am not going to wire money to you in Nigeria and get the keys, magically, tomorrow. Nope.
Just trying to keep my sense of humor and positive thinking. Watch for my next post where I complain about the ugliest fences in the valley........
